植物クイズ Plant Quiz 4


Hint: The ground seeds are an awesome seasoning for fresh water eel (best braised over wood coals).

ヒント：この植物の実と昆布の佃煮は最高に合います！一度小豆島を自転車で走ってたら、佃煮屋さんを見つけて、そこで始めて味見をしました。今まで食べた佃煮の中で一番美味しかったです。椎茸も入っていたかもしれません。分からない方は、英語のヒントを読めばすぐに分かると思います。

    That's sansho, isn't it?

    Our local speciality is nisshin sansho (or possibly sansho nisshin) - dried herring pickled with sansho. Bloody yummy!

    Yes, I would have never guessed it. That's a combo I've never heard of. I still have yet to walk deaper into the sansho experience.
